This is an optical sensor that detects the acidity of the water, with an accuracy of 98%.
An optical pH sensor basically comprises two essential parts: A pH sensitive sensor layer and a read-out device (pH meter). The pH meter consists of a LED and photodiode which excites the compounds in the pH sensor and detects its luminescence emission.
Communicates with the transmitter in an open protocol, therefore can connect to all types of transmitters.
This sensor comes in the form of a cylinder, 10 cm long and 3 cm in diameter.
